The Age Of Aquarius: Full Speed Ahead—>

As I note my thoughts in this writing, we just had a New Moon 🌚 in Leo ♌ and we are approaching a major, incredibly rare aspect that hasn’t occurred for hundreds of years: the Uranus ♅, Mars ♂and North Node ☊ conjunction in the zodiac sign of Taurus ♉.
We are definitely living in times of change which always exists on some level to some degree. However, the level of change the human race has been experiencing in just the last couple of years, seems to be accelerated.
In January of 2020, the Sun, Mercury, Jupiter, Saturn and Pluto were all in Capricorn, and on January 12th, all of these planets, excepting Jupiter, aligned in what is called a conjunction meaning they all lined up in a tight degree of orb in the sign of Capricorn. Ceres, an asteroid body, and the South Node were also part of this historic conjunction. This astronomical event preceded the soon to be massive changes that were to occur all over the world in 2020.
In addition to the above alignment in January of 2020, on December 21st of the same year, 2020, we had the “Great Conjunction” of Jupiter and Saturn in Aquarius. In Astrology, Jupiter and Saturn represent society and were in an extremely tight conjunction in the brotherhood/sisterhood sign of Aquarius beginning a new 200-year cycle where their conjunctions will occur in all air signs. I remember watching these two planetary giants meet up in the sky and online; it made me feel hopeful.
Now we have yet another great astronomical event happening August 1st with the alignment of Uranus, Mars and the North Node all at 18 degrees of Taurus.
The planet Uranus known as the “Great Awakener” is the planet of sudden change and the modern day ruler of Aquarius. You can always expect the unexpected with Uranus and for this reason, it is a challenge to know what events will occur when it is activated. Mars, the planet of action, will be activating Uranus in the very same degree of vibration. A big player attending this summit is the North Node representing the path of future evolution individually and collectively.
The Age Of Aquarius: Full Speed Ahead
Considering both Uranus and the North Node are futuristic entities, energized by Mars, seem to be showing us the way forward. In addition, when we look at the Saturn-Uranus squares of 2021, by the way, are still loosely present in the background in 2022 and activated again later this year in October; the universe is speaking to us. These tumultuous planetary forces historically can effect deep disruptive structural changes in society. Although disruptive changes are not always negative, it does mean that we have to make adjustments which many of us resist. The Saturn-Uranus squares are asking us to look at what structures, Saturn, need to be modified/eliminated in order to move into the future, Uranus.
We have been hearing for years that we are transitioning from the Great Age of Pisces to the Great Age Of Aquarius. As each great age is roughly two thousand years, this transition could last a hundred years or more. Astrologers have been talking about the coming of the age of Aquarius for decades and longer. There was a pop, musical group called, The Fifth Dimension that had a hit song called, Age of Aquarius/Let The Sunshine In, way back in 1969!
Uranus was in the sign of Aquarius from about 1996 to 2003. Neptune was in the sign of Aquarius from 1998 to 2011. Next up is Pluto. Pluto will be fully in the sign of Aquarius in 2024. Will this be when we are fully in the Age Of Aquarius? perhaps so. Pluto was last in Aquarius in 1778-1798. During that time, we had the ratification of the American constitution and the Industrial Revolution.
The Age of Aquarius isn’t just marked by a date but it is when we as the human race love and respect our planet (our home) and one another.
Looking at the Astrology just since January of 2020, it seems obvious we are at a turning point for the human race. Do we clean up our home, planet earth? Do we come together as one people versus these divisive, ethnic, cultural sub-divisions? Do we see and care for people as being in our family, the family of the human race? Do we stop putting economic greed over the lives of people?
Yes, we are our brothers’ keeper; the COVID pandemic made this clearly evident.
Now is the time to make a difference. Now is the time to let go and be free of old, worn out paradigms, mindsets and ways of doing things just because that’s what we have always done. Do we choose stagnation or freedom? In order for us as a people, our planet, in all of its glory and beauty, to not only survive but thrive now and for eons to come, the universe is pressing upon us to re-evaluate and make necessary, perhaps revolutionary changes; we are obliged to honor this cosmic beckoning.
