Transmuting “negatives” into positives…
As I note my thoughts in this writing, The Nodes Of Destiny/Karma are in the fixed signs: North Node is in Taurus ♉ and the South Node is in Scorpio ♏. The Moon’s Nodes will remain in these fixed signs for the remainder of this year into next year. Saturn ♄, the planet of Karma, is also in the fixed sign of Aquarius ♒ for the rest of this year into next year.
There are four fixed zodiac signs in Astrology: Taurus, Leo ♌, Scorpio and Aquarius. The fixed signs want stability and tend to not like change. Taurus, Scorpio and Aquarius represent three of the four fixed signs; natives who are Taurus, Scorpio and Aquarius, the signs that typically do not like change, can really be feeling the effects of these aspects depending on your Astrology chart.
In addition to what is mentioned above, the aspect between Taurus, Scorpio, Aquarius and Saturn is called a T-square when their degrees are in orb. Orb is the range of angle difference between the exactness of planets and other astrological placements in the chart.
In this case, Taurus and Scorpio are opposing signs, 180 degrees apart, and Aquarius forms a 90-degree angle, a square, to both Taurus and Scorpio. T-squares, squares and oppositions are considered hard aspects as they are a call to action as opposed to the easy energy flow of the sextiles and trines. Many shriek at the thought of having T-squares, squares and oppositions in their astrological charts but in fact, these aspects help to move us forward out of our comfort zone and in retrospect, can account for some of the greatest growth and development in our lives.
These aspects are explained here in order to demonstrate how the north node in Taurus, south node in Scorpio and Saturn in Aquarius relate geometrically in Astrology and what the geometric relationships tend to manifest.
Noted above, Leo is the remaining fixed sign that compose the four fixed signs. The other astrological modalities include the cardinal signs of Aries, Cancer, Libra and Capricorn, with the mutable signs of Gemini, Virgo, Sagittarius and Pisces completing the quadruplicities, four signs, to each modality of cardinal, fixed and mutable. The three quadruplicities form natural squares, hard aspects, to one another.
Tap Into Your Inner Potential
This year we have eclipses, super powerful new and full moons beckoning the tides of change in the signs of Taurus and Scorpio. Saturn, the taskmaster expecting us to live up to our responsibilities, in Aquarius squares the moon’s north and south nodes. These nodes determine eclipses. Saturn squaring the nodes occurs in varying degrees of closeness throughout 2022. The closer the aspect of Saturn to the moon’s nodes, the stronger its affects.
For Leos, the other fixed sign, the nodes and Saturn could be affecting us as well depending on where our planets and placements are in our charts. In fact, planets and placements in Leo could be very trying as there is the possibility for a grand square considered a powerful, hard aspect. With a T-square, the sign and house with no planets or placements can be a outlet for stressful energy, a release. With a grand square, all four fixed signs are involved.
For example, the three signs I have been speaking about that are in a T-square aspect are Taurus, Scorpio and Aquarius. So, the fixed sign that serves as an energy outlet is Leo. So in our charts, we could look to see what house has Leo on the cusp, and we can look to that sign and house to help us release the challenging T-square energies.

The truth of the matter is that the fixed signs could be feeling challenged this year. Although fixed signs could be feeling the potential stress, fixed signs are not stuck.
The study and practice of Astrology yes, helps us to understand the astrological energies, frequencies and cosmic influences but Astrology is even more. Astrology helps us better understand ourselves, other people and cultures. I think this is Astrology at its best helping us to better understand our world, our reality, broadening and expanding our universal views.
