👁 VIDEO: TiME ⏰ TELLS THE STORY 📖
“Time is free, but it’s priceless. You can’t own it, but you can use it. You can’t keep it, but you can spend it. Once you’ve lost it, you can never get it back.” — Harvey MacKay
As I am noting my thoughts in this writing, Venus ♀ was just conjunct with Saturn ♄ in the sign of Aquarius ♒.
Venus the planet of relating and relationship rules the zodiac signs of Taurus ♉ and Libra ♎ . Saturn rules Capricorn ♑ and Aquarius (traditional ruler). What is interesting is that Saturn is exalted in the sign Libra. This makes perfect sense as our 3-Dimensional reality is that of duality, opposing qualities offering us choice: do I take this path or that one? Our duty is to find balance in our lives represented by the scales of Libra. There are consequences for going to extremes.
Albert Einstein introduced the concept of time being the forth dimension. According to Einstein, you need to describe where you are not only in three-dimensional space — height, width and depth — but also in time. So to know where you are, you have to know what time it is.
Saturn is often referred to as the taskmaster or Father Time. Could this be due to the fact that we only have a certain amount of time to complete tasks? We don’t spend forever as a child. We grow into adulthood and are expected to assume adult responsibilities as well as allowed to enjoy the benefits bestowed upon productive, adult, law-abiding citizens. There is a finite amount of time for all things mortal including life itself.
Reaping What You Sow
When farming was the main manner in which people sustained themselves, it required a certain amount of discipline in order to survive: plowing the fields, watering the crops, observing the moon’s cycles, not only having the knowledge of knowing the best time to plant and harvest crops but to actually perform these laborious duties.
This may be why the Roman god Saturn was sometimes depicted with a scythe or sickle because of the association with putting in the time, energy and discipline to have a plentiful harvest. And actually the major Roman festival, Saturnalia, celebrated in December, was in honor of Saturn, the god of agriculture.
Saturn is also associated with karma which is related to the saying, “you reap what you sow”. Reaping what you sow may also be why Saturn is exalted in Libra the sign associated with balancing the scales of justice.
In the first week of April, the 4th, the planet Mars will conjunct Saturn. Mars lies within the realm of Saturn, in terms of planetary position from the sun to Saturn, so Mars will have to answer to Saturn. At this time, Mars may have to reign in some of his impetuosity which may not be all bad as he is tasked with having more measured activity. Maybe Mars will be more apt to ask questions first before shooting instead of shooting first and asking questions later. Or maybe he just won’t shoot at all remembering there are consequences for all actions.
At this time, we also may want to look before we leap!
